Dear Columbus High School Alumni and Friends,

It is my privilege to serve as President of the Columbus High School Alumni Association, and I am excited to welcome you to this edition of our alumni newsletter.
For those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet, my name is Luke Paul, Class of 2017, and serving this organization is an honor I take very seriously. Columbus High School has a remarkable history, but what makes CHS truly special is the community of students, faculty, families, and alumni who have carried its traditions forward from one generation to the next.
As President, one of my priorities is to strengthen those connections and create more opportunities for our alumni to remain informed, involved, and engaged with the school we are all proud to call ours.
In this newsletter, you will find updates on where the Columbus High School Alumni Association stands today, the work currently underway, and where we are headed as an organization. This newsletter is also an opportunity to recognize the people who continue to give their time, talents, and resources to support our mission and the students and traditions of Columbus High School.
This year is 100 Years of Columbus High School at Cherokee Avenue. One event that I would like to note is the CHSAA Alumni Tailgate on October 2nd to celebrate 100 Years of CHS. You can read more about it below.
There is a great deal happening within our Association, and even more to look forward to. As we continue building for the future, we remain committed to honoring the history and traditions that have made Columbus High School such an important part of our community.
Below, I am pleased to share a note from Principal Sonya Allen on the exciting things accomplished this past academic year as well as an update on the exciting work taking place within CHS this year.
Thank you for your continued support, your involvement, and most importantly, your pride in Columbus High School. I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
We are, as always…
Luke Paul '17
CHSAA President
